I have a dream …

With my experience in databases in the cloud and several projects doing proof-of-concepts for customers, I see a benefit from an application / website showing the differences between DBaaS and self-managed databases. At the same time I can show performance differences between various types of cloud providers and database products.

Eventually a customer could upload their own schema and some typical queries to benchmark. Benefit of this would be an independent review of the data modelling and queries.

I will keep you updated on my progress on this!

I need to think of a suitable name for this….. ah, I think I got one.
